Welcome to the beta environment of Supverse

Supverse is a media platform run by analysts and journalists.
Supverse, the UniVerse of WasSup, allows members to create ad hoc discussions on any page* across the vast Internet. The discussion can be just a reference for yourself, or a diverse audience debate. Organize all research content and references using personal hashtags on your Supverse profile and even stitch together these thoughts into a dynamic presentation you can publish online and share with others. Mingle your philosophies with others in the Supverse global sensorium to create new meanings.
  • Receive personalized emails with new comments made on pages you subscribed to, without signing up.
  • Sign up for a free account and use the cloud to bookmark pages and to leave notes on websites that interest you.
  • Join the discussions that are ongoing, see what trends and becomes news to you, find associated information.
  • Create an online dynamic stream of thought, in a Prezi like environment, and share it with like-minded people.

#Sony 's 'Project Morpheus' #VR Headset And The Uncertain Future Of #Virtual_Reality

Erik Kain, with his artistic and moody profile pic, is not really making a very convincing argument when he speaks of the risks of VR. I would argue that watching #TV or a #movie are more of an escape and considered anti-social over playing an interactive and potentially social online #game .

"If VR had a chance to succeed with #Oculus_Rift , those chances are improved dramatically following Sony’s announcement." Erik Kain

#Oculus_Rift DK2 preorders begin for July launch, adds 1080p #OLED

Great specs on this DEV Kit 2:

#1080p OLED screens, 960x1080 per eye (up from 720p on the original dev kit)

Low persistence OLED screens: In addition to the increased resolution, the new screens feature an improved refresh rate (75hz, 72hz, 60hz) that when combined with Oculus persistence (2ms, 3ms, full) technology makes motion blur and judder, two of the largest causes of motion sickness, minimal

Improved lens resin to provide better clarity

100° Field of View #FOV (up from 90°)

40 LEDs added to the frame for positional tracking (in conjunction with #Oculus camera)
