Discover PB puts on a lame PB restaurant walk involving mostly chains and franchises leaving out most everyone doing anything interesting here. Franchises such as McDonald's owned Chipotle, Quiznos, Pickup Stix are participating highlighting the banality of the event. Sara Woodcock, Discover PB program director mis-characterizes the event with the following: "It's definitely an eclectic mix of restaurants," said Sara Woodcock, program manager for Discover Pacific Beach. "We have a really good mix of different genres of food." Come-on Sara, why couldn't you signup the likes of Bella Italia, Enoteca Adriano, PB FishMarket, et al ? Fees too high ?
